August 2009 - Quality Department (AS9100:2008)

Tri-State Plastics has been awarded ISO9001:2008 and AS9100:2008 certification of registration.

May 2009 - Solidworks (3D CAD Software)

Tri-State Plastics has included SolidWorks to facilitate our CAD-CAM requirements.

February 2009 - Thermwood Model 67 ( Machining Center)

Tri-State Plastics has included a 5 axis machining center to increase our CNC capability

October 2008 - Quality Department (Magna Mike 8500)

Tri-State Plastics has included a non-destructive thickness gage designed to take measurements of nonporous material such as plastics, glass, composite, aluminum, and titanium to the Quality Department.

June 2008 - Thermwood Model 40 (Machining Center)

Tri-State Plastics has included a 3 axis-machining center to increase our CNC capabilities.

May 2008 - Quality Department

Tri-State Plastics, Inc.has been authorized by Lockheed Martin Corportation for End Item Acceptance Delegation.  Tri-State provides products for P-3, C-5, C-130, F-16, F-22 and the F-35 platforms.

March 2008 - Kitting (Automatic High Speed Bagger)

We now offer secure and customized high quality packaging solutions (bagging only)

February 2008 - Material Cutter (TBC-50)

We now offer high speed cutting of material (up to 4’ wide) product type – Tubing, Sleeving, Velcro etc… Accuracy ± 0.04

January 2008 - Colorization

We now offer the AURA® Technology, this infusion of color offers opaque and translucent PMS color matching and provides minimum material purchase to the desired color.

November 2007 - Injection Molding

We now offer our customers the use of our existing mud frames and die sets for small part, small runs, with low tooling cost. - Frame sizes: 4.5”x6.25” to 8” x 13” - Press size: 55 ton to 300 ton

September 2007 - Matched Mold Forming

We now offer the forming of phenolic to desired radiuses and bends. Finished machining is completed on our 3 and 5 axis machinery centers.
